What Is the Job Ready Program?
The Job Ready Program (JRP) is a tailored pathway for eligible international graduates with an Australian qualification
to gain Australian work experience, demonstrate their skills and job readiness, and improve their chances for skilled
migration.
It helps you bridge the gap between your overseas qualifications and the Australian workplace by providing structured
employment, assessment and support — all aligned with current TRA requirements.
Am I Eligible for the JRP?
To be eligible for the Job Ready Program, you must meet the following requirements:
Be a student visa primary holder (or hold a valid visa as specified by TRA).
Have at least 12 months of full work rights in Australia (where applicable).
Hold a recognised qualification from a CRICOS-registered RTO.
Requirements may change. We will confirm your eligibility based on the latest guidelines.
How Does the Program Work?
The JRP is a four-step process that takes a minimum of 12 months to complete and includes 1,725 hours of employment and a workplace assessment.

Provisional Skills Assessment (PSA)
Verifies your qualification, identity and eligibility to begin skilled employment in Australia.
Job Ready Employment
Work in your nominated occupation for at least 12 months (full-time or equivalent).
Workplace Assessment
A TRA assessor evaluates your practical skills and performance at your workplace.
Job Ready Final Assessment (JRFA)
Reviews all documentation and provides a full TRA skills assessment for migration.
